Firefox 2.0 is out - get it now…

Firefox 2.0 is here...Hot on the heels of the release of the latest version of it’s arch-enemy Internet Explorer, the guys over at Mozilla Corp. have delivered, as promised, the latest version of Firefox - version 2.0

Changes can be found in:

  • the inclusion of anti-phishing capabilities (much like Internet Explorer 7.0)
  • improvements to tabbed browsing - the ability to more easily close individual tabs (amongst other things)
  • interface re-design - the whole things looks a lot newer
  • the ability to resume a previous session - on re-opening Firefox after closing it recently you have the choice of restoring all of the previous tabs and windows you last had open
  • addition of an online spell checker - great when posting comments or filling in forms on the web

and lots, lots more. Read about all of the changes in the Firefox 2.0 release notes or get your copy of Firefox 2.0 from the getfirefox.com
